Connections depend on the provider’s capabilities. MAV has AI connectors, plug-ins, APIs, and import/export capabilities to meet other vendors based on their capabilities.
It is possible for an agent to be trained to specifically handle this task, but we would advise a districts board attorney to review all output to assure compliance as AI is not a legal consultant.

It is an absence and sub tracking software, mobile app, and AI enabled tool set. Yes, we have two time and attendance options to pick from currently.
Yes, employees can use their own AI tools and can also have accounts with MyAliVista. It is not just for admin use. Employer decision makers decide which employees have access and which do not. We anticipate employers will add more employees or all staff as the platform and software options mature.

What this looks like in practice
A board member’s question on Tuesday afternoon.
A board member emails the business manager at 4:12 on a Tuesday. He wants substitute cost trend by school, by month, for the year. The board meeting starts at six.

In 2024, Tennessee enacted a law requiring public K-12 school districts to adopt AI policies. Many Tennessee districts adopted a board-approved model policy framework that addresses educator and student use, AI tool approval, staff training, and data privacy.
TKAC is designed to help Tennessee districts operationalize the policy commitments they have already made. Shared infrastructure. Peer-built tools. Tennessee districts working alongside each other under Tennessee’s framework.

Three answers Tennessee superintendents want first
The founding cohort is deliberately a cross section of Tennessee districts, not just the most advanced. What qualifies a district: superintendent buy-in, two designated Champions, and one genuine operational challenge. That is the floor.
Year one is $0. Founding membership includes up to 25 MAV employee seats. Additional MAV seats at a 50% discount during the Cohort year. AliVista University training is available to every employee each year you use MAV, regardless of MAV seat count. Year-two pricing is provided in writing before year one begins: a 25% discount on the standard rate.
Yes. The founding cohort is open to Tennessee districts regardless of whether they currently use the MBC HCM platform. Cohort participation requires being on the MAV platform, because that is how the tools, the data security, and the governance record all connect.
